Michael McMullan's lifelong obsession with statistics, results and league tables led him inevitably into the presenter's chair on |Today FM's "Premiership Live" programme in 2001. He's been there ever since, surviving the change of name to "Premier League Live" in 2007, hundreds of arguments with the show's resident expert Mark Lawrenson, and even a summer in Japan and Korea at the 2002 World Cup.
Michael's other favourite sports are snooker and golf, both of which he kids himself he can play. The highlight of his reporting career came in July 2007, standing at the back of the 18th green at Carnoustie as Padraig Harrington holed the winning putt in The Open.
Originally from Co Antrim, Michael has lived in Dublin since before he got his first News of the World Football Annual.
