Brian is founder and initial director of the Trinity College Dublin MSc in finance. This programme is unique in the world in having accreditation from the chartered financial analysts, the professional risk managers, and the chartered alternative investment associations. He works extensively with players in the precious metals industry, and researchers on international financial integration, investment, and behavioural/psychological aspects of economics and finance.
He holds postgraduate qualifications in economics from the National University of Ireland, a doctorate in finance from Stirling University, and a first class BA in economics from Trinity College Dublin. He has previously been employed in the Department of Health as a statistician and in the Central bank of Ireland as an economist.
