Brendan Courtney is a broadcaster, designer and writer. He spearheaded the return of the BBC’s “The Clothes Show” which he produced and presented for 3 seasons. As creative director of Giant Film and TV he has produced and presented countless TV series. He has co-written two No.1 books on style and fashion with Sonya Lennon – LOVE YOUR LOOK and YOUR BEST YOU. He has a weekly fashion column in The Irish Times
His self-authored documentaries ‘Alias Ricky Gervais’ and ‘Living with Boy George’ won him critical acclaim. He then went on to host a self-titled terrestrial TV chat show “The Brendan Courtney Show” which led to his role as presenter and stylist on RTE1’s fashion flag ship TV Show “OFF THE RAILS” for 7 seasons.
Brendan began his career as fashion reporter on RTE’s live daily show “OPEN HOUSE”, while working in fashion television and styling Brendan returned to London’s Central St Martins college of fashion where he studied fashion illustration and design.

He is the fashion correspondent for BBC Radio London and RTE in Ireland. He began his relationship with the BBC Radio as the co-host of the breakfast show in 2010. He is currently in production for 2 new TV series for UK and Asian TV Propellar TV. 1. “Profiler” (sees Brendan profile global icons, their careers and life) and 2. The Cut (a monthly TV Fashion Magazine programme)
